Following the road Maya Deren never finished, in search of a continent sunk beneath the water.
A dialogue with experimental-film pioneer Maya Deren — her unfinished Haiti project, her rituals and trance states, the looping dream of Meshes of the Afternoon. The work treats “Atlantis” as a lost yet still-calling land of images, digging onward along her method.
It continues Proto.cinema's inquiry into the cinema before cinema.
A town that does not exist, living out a single day inside an algorithm.
Gad-Avia is a floating, fictional town. The work lets it pass through one complete day and night inside a generative system — light, people and sound all grown from rules, no moment ever repeating.
It extends a long-running interest in remaking reality through fiction, handing the camera to a machine to dream.
A low-frequency sound from the deep ocean that no one has ever explained.
BLOOP takes its name from an ultra-low-frequency signal of unknown origin, recorded by underwater microphones in 1997.
Beginning from this sound that cannot be filed, the work asks how we remember a phenomenon when it grows too large to be named.
Digging the ruins of things that have not happened yet.
Future Archaeology regards the digital debris of the present — images, data, signals — as the excavated artifacts of a future civilisation.
It does not predict the future; it practises looking back at the present through an archaeologist's eyes: what will be left behind, and how will it be misread.
